Volunteer Clearances

In compliance with House Bill 435, Grace Assembly requires background checks and clearances for every volunteer that serves in children or youth ministry in any capacity. This process is composed of three parts, listed below. If you are interested in working with minors at Grace, you will need to go through this process. Obtaining clearances is free, but it can take several weeks to receive clearances back. If you already have clearances, you can scan and email them to Pastor Kelly at kelly@graceagpa.org

Step 1: PA State Background Check

The first clearances needed to work with minors in Pennsylvania is a criminal record check. Click here to fill out a form that will allow Grace Assembly to run the first background check.

Once this is complete, please move on to step two, FBI Fingerprinting.

step 2: affadavit or fbi fingerprinting

If you have resided in Pennsylvania for the last ten years, you may simply click here, print the affidavit, sign it in front of a notary and return to us! Your bank will usually provide notary services free of charge. If you do incur a notary expense, please bring the receipt and we will reimburse your cost.

If you have been living out of state, you must complete the process through the FBI fingerprinting process. Not to worry! It's very simple.

Please proceed to this website to register at a location:

There is a fee for FBI fingerprinting. Once again, bring the receipt and we will reimburse your cost.

Please let us know if you need the fee in advance and we will provide that for you.
